I'm studying to hopefully get into assisting for optometry or ophthalmology. Just for a fun little approximation experiment to better understand cyl axis I wanted to try this. If I close my left eye I see the highlighted line the clearest. Would this mean that my toric axis would be approx 160? Or is it supposed to be perpendicular at approx 70? So for instance when I get fitted for contacts which one will it most likely be closest to?
